Growing up in Calgary, Alberta, I have been able to take advantage of all that this dynamic city has to offer. Being raised in a city that hosted the 1988 Winter Olympic Games has truly molded me into who I am today, and is what sparked my dream to become an Olympian. What I love most about Calgary is the pride and love that Calgarians feel for this city. Having lived in every quadrant of Calgary, I have seen the beauty of this city from all angles. From horseback riding on the wide-open prairie to the east, or snowboarding on the snow-capped mountains to the west, I have led a life that embodies what it is to be a Calgarian.

I started snowboarding at the age of 12 on the slopes of Canada Olympic Park, which is located in the heart of Calgary, Alberta. With the Rockies located less then 2 hours from my doorstep, my love of the mountains and snowboarding grew quickly. I trained and competitively snowboarded for 13 years, evolving from Junior National Team to Development Team to World Cup Team and eventually to the 2010 Canadian Olympic Team. Competing and representing Canada on a world stage has always been a huge passion for me. As a two-time world cup medalist and 2010 Olympian, I feel like my career as a snowboarder has come to fruition.

With the influence of my father as an investor in the Calgary market place, my interest in real estate grew and eventually inspired me to get licensed in 2007. Having been a homeowner at an early age, I know the challenges that surround buying or selling a home, and the care and responsibility involved in the decision process of investing in real estate. I am dedicated to helping families, first time buyers, investors, all Calgarians, or aspiring Calgarians to find the perfect fit. I understand the importance of homeownership and the pride that everyone should feel for their home.

How am I different from other real estate agents?

Spending 13 years of my life committed to achieving excellence at the highest level of sport has engrained work habits such as dedication, integrity, passion, hard work, leadership, and commitment. All of these traits are evident in every project or challenge I take on. Doing things at the utmost highest caliber of professionalism is what I strive for.

Experience

With the influence of my father as an investor in the Calgary market place, my interest in real estate grew and eventually inspired me to get licensed in 2007. Having been a homeowner at an early age, I know the challenges that surround buying or selling a home, and the care and responsibility involved in the decision process of investing in real estate. Our market has seen some extreme highs and lows, and being involved throughout these changes has allowed me to evolve as a realtor and adapt to market trends.

Technology

Many realtors, both new and mature, do not emphasize the importance of using the internet and all it has to offer with marketing, communication, and exposure. When looking for a property, buyers will go to the internet first. Using mls is just one internet medium to get exposure to your property. Your property will be exposed on mls, the Urban Property Real Estate website (urbanpropertyinc.com) and www.realtyincalgary.com. As well as it will be exposed to all other agents and prospective buyers in my network via email, twitter, facebook and linkedin.

Expertise

My expertise is in the inner city and surrounding area. Working with people who want to get a taste of the big city or helping growing families relocate out of downtown into surrounding areas with more space.

Communication

I am accessible to my clients 24 hours and day 7 days a week via phone, email or text. I make an active effort to be easily accessible at all times through all mediums.

My Commitment to You

One of my biggest strengths is the ability to listen to my clients and execute a plan to suffice their needs and wants. I am more then committed to making the process of buying or selling your home the exciting and happy experience that it should be.
